    Colin Whyte served in Malaya from November 1959 to November 1961, and later served in Vietnam and with the ANZUK Singapore Forces,.

    Note: red cummerbunds were used by all branches of the army when overseas; at home the Medical Corps cummerbund is a dull cherry colour.
