    US Army officer's shirt "pinks", WW2

    Belonged to Lieutenant Colonel WW Wallace

    "Pink" uniform officers (only) shirt with 3rd Air force badge, pre war, officers only 3rd Air force

    Lt Col Wallace joined the U.S. Army in Ordnance a few years before the war. He was with the 3rd Air force then based at Tampa Florida. During the war he moved to Army Air Force and served in the South Pacific. He then returned to the Ordnance Corps before retiring and coming to live in New Zealand.
