    Headrest (English)

  • Description

    Kali. Headrest. Carved from kau (wood), consisting of a rectangular rest supported on two cylindrical yava ni kali (support legs) with oval yava ni kali at base that are interconnected with a short bar of wood. The rectangular rest curves upwards and flares slightly towards each end. The legs are joined to the underside of the rest by joins. Reddish brown colour. Smooth and polished surface.
