    Toki. Adze. Multipurpose tool used for carving wood and other materials. Dark in colour. Trapezoidal in cross-section. Dull cutting edge. Very shallow bevel. Sides are polished but with large chips at one side. Front of the blade is flat with slightly rounded sides. Raised shoulder. From shoulder reduced to butt and poll. Butt and poll left pecked. Overall surface treatment is mostly polished with areas left pecked.
