    Toki. Adze. Multipurpose tool used for carving wood and other materials. Carved from toka (stone). Grey in colour. Quadrangular cross-section. Sharp cutting edge. Bevel surface is steep. Raised shoulder. From the shoulder reduced to butt. Coconut sinnit braid, lashing, (tapaki / taviri / hahau), is wrapped around butt. Poll left flaked. Low level polish all over. Overall surface treatment left flaked and pecked.
