Used for pounding food or ingredients for producing dyes. Carved from a single piece of keho/morevai (stalactite). Head of the pounder is formed into a transverse palm grip. Body of the pounder is conical in shape (narrow at the neck and gradually expanding till widest at base). Slight convex pounding surface. Light sandy colour.
