Codd's patent bottle The Kia Ora Mineral Water Co. had its premises in Wyndham Street (new brick premises built in 1908), and then in New North Road, Eden Terrace, Auckland. In 1927 the company was purchased by Grey & Menzies. "The attention of consumers of aerated waters and those who like a refreshing beverage is directed to the manufactures of the Kia Ora Mineral Water Company. The company has erected a plant at Eden Terrace, which is fitted up with all the latest machinery, slate tanks and earthenware filters." New Zealand Herald, 1 July 1908 "GREY AND MENZIES, LTD. KIA ORA MINERAL WATER CO.
