  • Description

    Figurine head. Round topped. An incised vertical groove runs across top of head down the forehead to the top of the nose. A horizontal groove runs around the forehead, crossing the vertical line above the nose. Without earspools, although some break scars may indicate elements have formerly been attached. Eyes are slits placed in modelled sockets. Nasal bridgeline off-centre. Upper and lower lips, slightly upcurved at one end, and chin defined. Two grooves on jaw line.

    Broken at neck. Remnants of red pigment on head, in grooves, and mouth. White pigment remnants on face; in eyes, grooves and pores.
