  • Description

bowl made of dyed rattancore and phoenix palm tendrils; created from a framework and underside of dyed rattancore, with three circular bands of phoenix palm tendrils which have been woven through the upper surface, creating a pleasing shift in colour and texture; base of the bowl features an open-weave pattern of a triangle that opens out into curving lines that join with the body of the bowl, while the relatively narrow opening and sharp angles of the bowl’s shoulder combine to give this object its distinctive visual qualities.
