  • Description

    Figurine head. 'Portrait' style. Mould made. Clay reddish yellow to strong brown in colour. Slightly curved bare top with rounded corners, face narrowing towards chin. Back of head flat. Without ears or spools. High forehead. Eyes with concisely formed lids and rims. Brows fine and arched, joined above the nose. Nose long and marrow. Mouth with bowed upper and downturned lower lip. Chin defined. Unsmoothed clay modelling remnants visible on front of the long slender neck.

    Dark core shows on neck break. Dark pigment traces on surfaces.
