    muff pistol; flintlock & percussion; boxlock with 1/2 cock and safety catch; muzzle loading; screw-in smoothbore barrel; .45 inch calibre; frizzen spring sunk in breech top; sliding top thumb safety; engraved war trophy motif on right hand sides of lock; plain one-piece slab walnut grip; all metal is iron
