British Naval Sea Service flintlock pistol, circa 1806
This third model Sea Service pistol was introduced about 1790 and were made under Board of Ordnance contract for use by the Royal Navy. They saw considerable use during the Napoleonic Wars, and were still in use during New Zealand's Northern Wars of the 1840s.
