    French style flintlock trade pistol, c.1800s

    flintlock; 18mm calibre (.660 inches?); long smoothbore barrel; ½ and full cock; brass fittings; possibly made from military parts; with barrel band; lanyard ring at heel, slightly bent; slight split at end of half forestock, has been repaired by use of two metal pins
