Collected by 5/636A Major GR Hutchinson OBE m-i-d, NZ Army Service Corps, WW1
Major George Rowland Hutchinson embarked with the 8th Reinforcements on the 13th November 1915, destination Suez. He also served on the Western Front and was decorated for his service with the Divisional Canteen at Messines and on the Somme. His son, of the same name, also served with the NZASC.
