    percussion: .45 inch calibre; double action; action at fault; 6 shot; captive rammer underneath barrel; one-piece finely chequered grip

    missing: dovetail foresight fitting; screw from pistol grip strap

    accessories: with mahogany case & brass powder flask, brass mould; oil bottle; percussion cap container, lubricant

    on right hand body below cylinder: ADAM'S PATENT IMPROVED No. 50

    on top of barrel and strap: ADAM'S PATENT SMALL ARMS COMPANY. 591, STRAND, LONDON.

    The case is made from wood and is a rectangular shape with a hinged lid. At the top centre of the case is a brass circle inset into the wood. Inside the case is a green lining with several compartments
