    .22 inch calibre; 7 chamber revolver; single action; sheathed trigger; chrome-plated body; cylinder and barrel richly blued; rod under barrel with unknown use

    case: mahogany case with hinged lid; blue velvet lining; with removable compartment for cartridges; marked: F.A.C.C.

    on front face of cylinder and rear internal barrel frame: H5;

    on cylinder: PATENTED APR.3.1855, JULY.5.1859 & DEC.18.1863
