This is an example of an early repeating rifle patented in 1838 by Bennett & Haviland of Maine, USA. It is made by RY TO REWRITE following from new information Note reference to an American percussion nine shot repeating rifle manufactured by C.B. Allen of Springfield Massachusetts in 1837 - also referred to as a Cochran Mini chambered and Nonrecoil rifle that had an under trigger mechanism with a revolving cylinder which had percussion nipples on the under surface – this was the third model of the company, while the second model had a magazine called a harmonica magazine because of the transverse lie.
