  • Description

    Figurine head. Mould made. Symmetrical headdress, cap-like with rim of vertical lines across forehead, following brow-line, dipping in centre above bridge of nose. Raised ridge runs vertically from the dip to the top of the head. On each side of the head a lock falls diagonally to the rim line. One earspool partly broken off, the other with indent and central dot remains intact. Lidded and rimmed eyes, complete nose, flattish, down-turned at end.

    Full-lipped mouth (the lower clearly outlined) with lines each side. Fine double roll collar with decoration of vertical lines and rounded indents. Broken at neck below collar. Concave back. White pigment on front and back. Traces of red and yellow on front.
