  • Description

    Figurine head. Mould made. Headdress of a broad band with a groove, and two 'eye rings' placed at the centre, one mostly broken out, the top and a side broken off. Part of a background frame extends out from the headdress and earspool, the lower portion being broken off. A thick-rimmed earspool with a raised central dot survives but the surface of the opposite side is missing. Face smooth. Eyes of a slit and slanting style, brows and lids defined.

    Nose flattish with alae of nostril depicted. Mouth thin-lipped and open with another raised ring inside possibly representing teeth. Chin damaged. Necklace of seven square to rectangular beads. Broken across upper torso. Remains of broken stand on the back. Traces of red and white pigment on front, white on the back.
