  • Description

    Figurine head. Mould made. Panache style headdress, layered, on a frame behind a broad band above the forehead with two eye rings at the centre. A central cone shaped element (top broken off) at mid frame is flanked by three short plumes, and four longer plumes arching behind. Part of the lower frame survives on one side but is missing from the other.

    One earspool is intact and appears to have another placed below at a slight angle; only half a spool remains on the other side. Eyes slanted and lidded, nose triangular, mouth compact and open. Back concave and rough. White pigment front and back, traces of red beside head band, yellow in the eyes.
