  • Description

Figurine head. Mould made. On a frame. Textured turban headdress. The top and one side of the frame broken off. Earspools with rims and raised central dots are intact. Lidded and rimmed eyes, down-turned nose. Straight, open, lipped mouth. Imperfect narrow chin. Wearing a collar style neck ornament of three plain bands, two finer and the lowest thicker.

The surviving section of frame extends from the top turban edge down to the neck break, a wider piece projecting out at earspool level. Back rough concave. Broken below collar. White pigment on the front and back. Patch of red on the collar (and possibly the back, though the red and black may be a result of firing or weathering).
