  • Description

    Figurine head. Mould made. 'Tlaloc'. Headdress corrugated. A vertically lined, ridged rim across the forehead curves down the temples and out over the ears. Four vertical evenly spaced ridges span the crown, with two horizontal ridges at the sides and two ridged chin straps framing the face. The headdress back has a ray design but is broken across the top and one corner. Wearing eye rings over lidded and rimmed eyes. Nose end abraded. Mouth full-lipped.

    Broken below neckline. The white undercoat pigment is visible on the front and back, traces of the red top coat on the front.
