The upper headdress back appears to consist of four concentric tiers of feathers with a round glyph (including scroll sign) at the centre. The glyph is encircled by a rattle snake, the head coiled out to one side over the tail rattle extending to the other. The lower edge of the backing feather roundel appears in a triangle above the middle of the headdress base, below the snake. Figure wears oval eye rings over lidded eyes. Nose and lipped, open mouth intact. Back slightly concave. Broken obliquely through the neck leaving half an earspool with central raised dot on one side but the other intact. White pigment on front and back. Red pigment the glyph and on some of the backing feathers.
