Adorno for an incense burner or theatre-type censer, ceramic. Mould made. Representation of a butterfly antenna. Curved base with a pointed end, raised band and cone-like top with splaying black 'feathers', one side down-curving. Eight ridges with curved ends denote the feathers. Back flat to concave. Base painted with red pigment, the top band with yellow and the feathered end and margins with black. Mexico
