  • Description

    Necklace. Three large segments of paua shell painted with red and yellow flames, on the reverse these have been reinforced with fibreglass and aluminium cheneers have been attached and painted with blue metallic spray paint. The elements of necklace are linked with nylon cord lined with plastic tubing. To the proper right of the paua is a multicoloured shell yellow and red silk wrapped tub, a silk tassels in blue/red/purple attached to a small orange/white shell.

    Then a small paua shell has a claw-shaped piece of heat coloured titanium(not andodised) inserted. The necklace fastens with a toggle of paua attached with coiled silver wire and a nylon loop made in same manner. Maker's name engraved on a metal disk on reverse of bottom paua/fibreglass shape.
