  • Description

    Kete. Bag. Woven from rauara (pandanus). Used for carrying personal items. Flat rectangular shape. All natural colour. Rauara is mostly woven in checkwork, but with structural decoration including patara (serrated edge) rim two rows of uneven horizontal twill at middle of the kete spanning the width of the kete on both sides. Two tatai (handles) of rauara woven flat and attached to inner side by hand sewing.
