  • Description

    Toki. Adze. Multipurpose tool used for carving wood and other materials. Carved from basalt toka (stone). Grey in colour. Triangular cross-section. Sharp cutting edge. Shallow bevel surface. Flat front of blade. Prominent shoulder reduced to butt. Butt end is rounded at the sides. Poll is pecked. Overall surface of the adze is polished with some pecking at the poll.
