Ei. Necklace consisting of pupu (shells) poreo (Cowrie shells, Monetaria annulus) and brown speckled sprial shaped pupu (Dotted dove shell, Euplica scripta). The ei consists of poreo grouped in two, alternating with multiple brown speckled spiral shaped pupu, forming a pattern. The poreo and pupu are bored and strung on nylon taura tautai (fishing line), forming a pattern that consists of small clusters of two poreo followed by 4-6 brown speckled spiral shaped pupu.

Held together by a piece of red and white fabric.
