    Toki. Adze. Multipurpose tool used for carving wood and other materials. Carved from toka (stone). Brown in colour. Triangular cross-section. Sharp cutting edge intact. Large bevel surface slightly concave. Front of blade is flat and highly polished. Raised shoulder reduces to butt. Butt has some pecking still evident on its surface, as does poll. Overall surface treatment of the adze is areas of high polish and areas where pecking still evident.
