Tool used for multiple purposes including carving wooden objects. Carved from a basalt stone. Dark in colour. Quadrangular cross-section. Chipped at cutting edge. Bevel ground at a light incline, slightly concave towards the cuting edge. Front of blade is flat, highly polished with shallow chipping towards the lower end. Prominent raised shoulder reduces to butt. Butt has some polished.
