    Adze Fragment (English)

  • Description

    Adze fragment. Toki. Multipurpose tool used for carving wood and other materials. Single fragment of worked stone. Brown in colour. Triangular cross-section. Poll, butt, shoulder and small part of blade intact. Blade is flat and polished. Has raised shoulder, reduces to butt. Pecking still visible in areas around butt and poll.
