    Vaka akaraanga. Model canoe components. A Ra (sail) made of parau (pearl shell) with serrated edges. Two masts made of rakau (wood), carved, with parau (pearl shell) inlay in a circular form. One wooden rod and mast lashed to a parau (pearl shell) Ra (sail) with puru akari (coconut sennit).
