  • Description

    A pair of late 19th C Indian Mughal ivory carved Paduka slippers. Traditional scrolling form with fine carved border bands of rosettes and tendril design, five repeating leaf design outer border, the raised rims carved with various animals including elephants and rhinoceros, a turned finial to the front of each. A metal pin holds the finial in place underneath.
