    bag clasp

    two piece bag clasp; oval flat base with vein-like ridges, circular depression in centre, with oval slit, circular punch holes around edges, maker's mark in depression "STG" and "C"; reverse of base has engraved lines; insert piece has circular flat base with punch holes around edges, set with oval brown cabochon, maker's marks on both front and reverse of base and bezel: "STG" and "C"; lost wax cast.
