    reverse of each coin has a different commonwealth image - champion with arms raised; woman swimming; gymnast on beam; weightlifter with barbell; legend on all reverse: XIVth COMMONWEALTH GAMES, AUCKLAND / 1 DOLLAR

    coins are in a white imitation leather case with a hinged lid, outside of lid is embossed in silver with the Reserve Bank of New Zealand's coat of arms and the text: CELEBRATION OF SPORT SILVER DOLLAR SERIES

    inside lid in lined with white satin with RESERVE BANK OF NEW ZEALAND / ROYAL AUSTRALIAN MINT embossed in silver

    base of case is lined with light grey [felt] with coins inset

    case is housed in a white cardboard box with colourful Commonwealth images on the front
