    bowl, small, copper, enamel ware, one out of set of three, orange enamel with black [Maori rock art] motif of a animal with four legs baked onto triangular lozenge shaped dish. The gift of the enamel ware bowls made by Mervyn Williams (or Dell Noakes labeled Dellware or Seraware), made in Upper Queen Street in Denis Knight Turner’s studio in the early 1960s.

    Along with being a well-designed experimental items with the use of Maori rock art motif, the bowls adds to the context of the collection we have by Auckland-based artist working in a craft medium.
