    Tika. Throwing javelin. The tika comprises of a long cylindrical wooden shaft and a fakaulu (dart head) which is bulbous and pointed, painted black in colour. The shaft is slightly bent. It is possible the shaft is made of fumamala. Fakaulu can be made from tika, kieto, toi or gigie wood.
