    Spear point of sting ray barb (English)

  • Description

    Te wete. A large spear point of sting ray barb. Lonigtudinal saw-tooth edges. The edges at base however, have been cut or filed down to smoothness. Tip retains original pointedness. On concave side, a wide and deep groove extends from the base, narrowing at the tip. Pigments of dark brown shades are visible across the surface. Lines of depression completely covers the body of the convex side.

    The use of baiku is varied, one is to prevent the theft of coconuts by burying them in footholds of the tree.
