    Adze blade (English)

  • Description

    'Arā. Adze blade. Carved from a single piece of ofa'i (stone) with a triangular cross-section. Overall surface treatment lefted pecked, with the bevel and the cutting edge left flaked. Prominent shoulder, and reduced from the shoulder to the butt, with a long poll that has a noticable raise. Prominent mound at the top of the back of the blade, forming a downwards slope, connecting to the poll.
