  • Description

    Antonio marionette made by Arnold Goodwin in 1937 as part of the cast of 'The Tempest'

    male marionette, wooden jointed body, painted face and hands. The puppet is clothed in a green long sleeved down with patterned hem, hat and yellow velvet cloak. Lengths of black beads are attached to the cape button and to an orange oval shaped stone. The control mechanism is made from wood and wire and attached to black string.
