    Trolling lure (English)

  • Description

    Te kaneati. Trolling lure. This kaneati is made of composite materials. The rabatan (shank) is made from te aubunga (clam shell) and is cylindrical in shape. A small perforation is made at the top of the rabatan for fishing line to suspend through. A sharpened lure point of te ri (bone) is lashed to the notched base of the rabatan with a hackle of te ira n atu (human hair) attached.
