    Trolling lure shank (English)

  • Description

    Rabatan te kaneati. Shank component of a fishing lure. This rabatan is cut and ground from aubunga (clam shell) into a small bullet form approximately 78mm in length. It is circular in cross section. The rabatan reduces to a perforated point at its top end and a cuffed protrusion featuring at the base end at which a hook point would be lashed to complete the kaneati (fishing lure). The rabatan is white in colour with some orange to grey tones.
