  • Description

    memorial brooch, cast oval shape with scroll and shell border and textured middle ground. This textured ground is then bezel and claw set with eleven odd shaped miners cut diamonds. The largest of these in the middle and the rest in a circle evenly spaced surrounding it. The middle setting is surrounded by a six scroll border. Each of the bezel is crimped and has four gold beads at outer edge, the largest of these has six.

    Maroon leather box with cream coloured silk.

    Note: the textured ground could indicate that perhaps at one time it was enamelled.
