'Koe Koka'anga 'ae Fafine Falevai', ('The fine art of the women of Falevai'), Ngatu, Barkcloth. The design uses five kupesi (printing block patterns) to create the design in a pattern of seven vertical panels with four repetitions of each block on the horizontal axis. There is a border top and bottom (2018.36.10) with white space above/below to a central panel of five blocks printed directly edge to edge. Top and bottom of these are the tree and frangipani design (2018.36.3) which are mirrored, then the tractor and home pattern (2018.6.4) and 'KOKA', gourd and weaving block print (2018.36.7), facing inward toward the central pattern or motif (2018.36.6) of ten female figures around a koka'anga (rubbing work bench).
