dish, glass, hot blown and spun platter, bowl is made up from a platter and spherical stand, platter has a shallow convex surface, platter is transparent clear glass with milky-purple colour towards the rim, rounded edges of platter, the stand has lamp worked elements that are encased in clear glass that makes up the spherical shape, inside the stand is a marine scene of seaweeds, sea creatures, rock formations, and fish; a large fish is visible only from a birds-eye view of the platter, the resting surface of the stand has been flattened off, etched into the base is :ECKSTRAND/ 90/ SUNBEAM GLASSWORKS
