  • Description

    Te kai n uniga. Headrest. This is a hand woven pillow made from te ira (dried pandanus leaf). It is rectangular in shape and form. A plain weave style has been used to construct its surface. It has been woven as a whole form and finished with an opening on one end of the pillow. The finished end has been stitched closed with a woven cord. The te ira is fibrous and golden yellow in colour. The pillow is also stuffed with te ira.
