    Te atau. Bolas weight. This atau (bolas weight) is made of te atibu te nari (coral stone). It is perforated and attached with a short length of te kora (coconut sennit). It is used in the Kiribati game of Te Kabwane, and also can be used to lasso live frigate birds. Te kabwane is a national sport of Kiribati. An atau or line with lead is thrown over a frigate bird's feather thrown up in the air. This atau is white in colour with darker spots of red on the surface.

    The length of te kora is golden brown in colour.
