human history
  • Description

Model of a Covid-19 isolation house made during lockdown.

Donor advised she crafted this house while in isolation at home.

Made from a wine box, with newspapers used for the roof, all other items used were found while she was out walking. It has poppies and silver fern in the garden, a teddy in the window. Two air plants represent a cabbage tree. A light can also be installed in the house. The donor is an artist and said making art was a saviour during lockdown. The work took a week to complete.
