  • Description

    'Arā. Adze blade. Carved from a single piece of ofa'i (stone), triangular in cross-section, with a steep bevel that is slightly concave, and with a mild to moderately sharp cutting edge. Overall surface treatment left pecked, with the butt left flaked. Prominent shoulder. Reduced from the shoulder to the butt. Grey in overall colour.
