  • Description

    flute. kooauauThree finger holes on the upper surface. Spiral decoration on 1 side near the middle fingerhole. Decoration around the circumference at the wide end. Width 25 mm Diameter of hole at wide end 18 mm, 12 mm at the other end. Instrument is shaped more like a nguru without the curved snout - possibly repaired or modified during manufacture. The apex of the decoration is at right angles to the fingerhole axis. Sandstone.
